Skilled worker applications can be submitted throughout the year. Qualified candidates and employers in Yukon need to settle down or prepare a complete application for the stream. Then, the employer requires a complete application to apply for a Nomination from the province. The application is processed by YNP within 8 to 10 weeks

 

The candidates whose applications are approved from Yukon are the only ones who can apply for Canada PR. They will be offered a support letter for Provisional Work Permit. This letter only can be used to apply for a Work Permit with IRCC. This will permit them to work in Yukon during the processing of their Permanent Residency application. One must know that a separate application is needed for applying for a Temporary Work Permit.

 

Yukon Critical Impact Worker

Critical Impact Worker of the Yukon Nominee Program provides an eligible worker a great chance to get a Provincial Nomination. The candidates must have semi-skilled work experience and a lawful employment offer obtained from an employer in Yukon. Only successful candidates with these criteria Provincial Nomination can apply for the Permanent Residency with IRCC.

To get success in the Critical Impact Worker Stream, candidates require a permanent and full-time employment offer from an employer in Yukon. The offer letter must include the position for skill level D or C in NOC - National Occupational Classification.

The employer has to give extreme effort for recruiting a Canadian for filling the job vacancy before offering the candidates to an overseas national. They must full fill the given criteria in the advertisement for the position. Mention in the ads that the job opening is for a minimum of 4 weeks in a minimum of 2 local and 1 national platform for recruitment.

Yukon Business Nominee

The Yukon Territory is searching for candidates who have great and demonstrated business and entrepreneurial skills. Using those skills, he/she can operate their businesses to boost the Yukon economy. Applicants of the Business Nominee Program must likely be eager to have their own business to run in Yukon.

 

Yukon Business Nominee Program offers Canada Permanent Residency. This Canada Permanent Residency under this program only includes entrepreneurial and business experience. They have interest to own and operate a business in the Yukon Territory. They must full fill the criteria of certain specific requirements and can possess a net worth of at least CAD 500,000.

Candidates who receive a nomination from Yukon get a support letter for applying for a 2-year Work Permit with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. They can live here in Yukon with this Work Permit and can start their business and themselves in Yukon. After 2 years, the business holders will get support From Yukon to apply for Canada PR with IRCC.

The Business Nominee Stream of the Yukon Nominee Program operates via a system of EOI - Expression of Interest. Eligible candidates can only enroll in the program; need to submit a business proposal. The eligible candidates will be admitted to the pool of applicants if the business proposal is approved by the nominee stream. 

 

The Yukon Nominee Program chooses candidates and grants an offer to them to file a full application for the Business Nominee Program.  That it is private the selection of candidates is not disclosed. The number of selected candidates was also not announced.

Yukon Express Entry

The YNP Express Entry Stream was formulated by the Government of Yukon in 2015. A candidate who is active in the profile of express entry and has a lawful job offer from the employer in Yukon can get scope for Provincial Nomination. This stream is combined with the federal Express Entry System. It gives an entitlement to successful candidates to receive speedy processing of their Canada PR applications

Program Requirements

Qualifying for the Canada Work Permit through the Community Pilot stream requires

two or three qualified employment offers:

• The weekly hours of work must end with at least 30 hours with a full-time job.
• All offers must be from the common participating community in Yukon.
• The job offers must be in the availability  
• Generally, it implies that you must have scheduled, paid, regular, and consistent employment throughout the year.
• The salary must be settled down higher than the minimum wage.
• Your experience has to demonstrate that you can perform well on the required job duties.
• Have a support letter with a signature from the Yukon Government.
• Accomplish the requirements defined for a Canada Work Permit.
